Linen

Linen is also a more eco friendly material for bed sheets, quilt covers, pillow cases, and other bed linen. Linen is completely biodegradable and is recycled. Flax plant has been grown for thousands of years, and is a renewable resource. Every part of this plant is used and is valuable. Even t he seeds are pressed to make linseed, which is commonly seed in floor coverings.

Another thing that makes linen an eco friendly option is that is requires very little pesticide or fertiliser use. The plant does not require irrigation. It is naturally strong and resilient, and does not require any chemical coatings. So, choosing bed linen would not only mean better comfort, it would also mean a step towards greener environment.
